Recently I qualified for a VoxBox (that's what Influenster calls the boxes of goodies!) for hair products. Okay ladies, which one of you wouldn't be jumping for joy receiving FULL SIZE shampoo, conditioner and Replenishing Oil? I know I was pretty jacked up!
...Until I tried the product. I am blessed because of my dear sweet (hopefully someday sister in law) Jayme. She always provides me with the best products so I'm a hard sell when it comes to these things. I gave the Dessange products a chance.. I really did.
The first time I washed my hair with the Dessange Oleo Miracle Replenishing Shampoo and Conditioner I was very hopeful because it lathered nicely and I thought for sure it was going to be a great product. Then I took my hair out of the towel and was nearly in tears as I combed through snarl after snarl that refused to come out. Usually my hair has a few snarls that I can work through, it was forever before I was able to get through these bad boys.. I used the oil on my hair after I finally brushed through it and it was just okay. I wasn't blown away.. but I wasn't going to just try it once and write a fair review.
So I gave it a week, combed my hair out a few times more before I jumped in the shower... this time it wasn't nearly as snarly but it was still more than I'm used to dealing with. Used the oil again... and still.. wasn't super impressed.
I truly think because I use a high quality salon product (Bumble and Bumble) with my Kerastase finishing oil that leaves my hair looking and feeling amazing without hours of snarls to comb through. I can't say that I would recommend this product because I would feel for anyone who has to comb through knots in their hair!! It was wonderful to try a freebie but I'm glad it was free because I know I would have been disappointed.
